Sending Artwork

For optimum results, artwork for your print needs to be supplied to us in vector format (with the file type one of; Adobe Illustrator .ai file, Adobe PDF .pdf file, or Encapsulated Postscript .eps). We can often use high resolution bitmap files such as .tif or .jpg but usually these are of low quality and not suitable for screen printing, when using these files please ensure they are print-ready 300dpi files and not just taken from a website.

If you are unsure about the suitability of an image, please send it to us and we will be happy to assess it for you.

We will make necessary adjustments to your artwork, including resizing, adding text and changing colours where necessary (e.g. changing black to white for printing on a dark coloured neoprene product), and removing backgrounds when needed (such as when you send a jpeg file that has a white box surrounding it) but the inclusive price does not include drawing new artwork or redrawing your logo ready for printing.

Redrawing

When your artwork is not suitable for print, we can redraw your logo for a nominal fee. This happens when you only supply us with a low quality jpeg file and we have to spend time creating a vector version for screen printing.

For redrawing, we charge an additional US$35 for most simple logos, very complex logos will require extra time and a quote will be issued. Once we have redrawn your artwork we will send you the vector version in .ai and .eps format so that you can use it yourself on future products, most print houses and designers will require a vector logo from you so it is not just a one use thing.
